Bobby Flay and Daughter Sophie Are All Dressed Up at the Louvre During Father-Daughter Trip for the Paris Olympics

Bobby Flay is having a snazzy dad-daughter date. 

The Food Network star, 59, and his daughter Sophie, 28, are in Paris for the 2024 Summer Olympics and their family vacation kicked off with a fancy visit to the Louvre. On August 2, Sophie shared photos and videos to her Instagram Stories as the two of them wandered the prestigious museum with champagne. 

“Starting the trip off with an insane tour of the Louvre,” she wrote over a video of the building’s iconic glass pyramid. 

As the pair posed in one of the galleries, Bobby wore a muted purple suit, while Sophie donned a floor-length polka dot dress. 

Of course, it’s not a trip to the Louvre without viewing the Mona Lisa. In a sweet video, the dad-daughter duo smiled in front of the famous Leonardo da Vinci masterpiece, which is typically flocked with thick crowds of tourists. 

They closed out their elite museum tour by watching a string band play in the halls.

Bobby and Sophie’s trip has been months in the making. In May, the Bobby’s Triple Threat star told PEOPLE that he planned on taking his daughter, who works as a reporter in Los Angeles for ABC7, to the Games. 

"I got invited to Paris and Sophie was like, 'Yeah, I'm your plus one,'" Bobby recalled. "She's worked the Olympics. When she was an intern at USC she worked for NBC, so she went to South Korea and she went to Rio. She considers herself my Olympic expert."

He added: "Sophie was like... she got right in there. She's like, 'Dad, I'm your plus one. That's it.”

The cookbook author, who recently split from his girlfriend Christina Pérez, was happy to oblige.

"Sophie's doing a great job," he said of his daughter’s career. "Listen, I'm her dad, so I'm proud as can be. She just keeps getting better and moving up the ranks at ABC and making herself an asset, which is always the goal."
