The actress, 38, admits she's hardly the expert when it comes to nailing the pronunciation of the brand name and its products. “We're Lancôme ambassadors, of course we’re going to get asked if it’s Lohn-cohm or Lan-cohm,” she says in the brand’s take on the popular “of course” TikTok video trend which already has more than 700,000 views and counting. Her fellow ambassador Isabella Rossellini, who served as Lancôme's first face in 1983, a role she held for 14 years, until she was brought back on in 2016 as an ambassador, clarifies, “once and for all it’s Lohn-cohm, Lohn-cohm.” Seyfried then says, “We’re Lancôme ambassadors. I don’t speak French so of course I struggle with pronouncing the product names,” before attempting to say, “Teint Idole” which is the brand’s popular foundation. Rossellini, 71, responds by repeating the product name in a flawless accent.
