TV family and blood family connected in a very unique way for Alyssa Milano this weekend.

The actress, 51, revealed in a post on Instagram that she took her son Milo Thomas to see her Who's the Boss? costar Tony Danza perform live at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, California, on Saturday night.

"Tonight was very special for me. I got to bring my real life son to see my tv dad’s show at @catalinajazzclub," the Charmed star wrote in a caption of a gallery of images from her mother and son night out.

Milano included two photos of herself and Milo, 12, one of Danza, 72, on stage and one of her son taking in his surroundings at the venue.

In his show, titled Standards & Stories, Danza sings classic songs and tells tales from his life as an actor.

Milano, who shares Milo and his younger sister, Elizabella Dylan, 9, with her husband David Bugliari, played Danza's character Tony Micelli's daughter Samantha on the hit ABC sitcom that ran from 1984 to 1992.

On the show, Tony is an ex-baseball player and widower who moves with Samantha to Brooklyn to take a job as a live-in housekeeper.

A revival of the series officially entered development in 2022, per TV Line. But, on a December 2023 episode of The Hollywood Reporter's TV's Top 5 podcast, the show's executive producer, Mike Royce, said the status of the show was still unknown.

“I have heard that we’re gonna hear. That’s been the case for a while," he said.

The premise of the revival would follow Milano's character Samantha as a single mother who asks her father to step in and help her raise her kids.
