Adele Celebrates Rich Paul's Daughter's College Graduation with Rare Nod: 'I Love You, Darling'

The singer also called the first-generation grad, Reonna Simone Paul, "amazing" at her May 17 Las Vegas show

Adele is sending some love to her “stepdaughter!”

During her May 17 Las Vegas show, the 36-year-old singer took a moment between songs to congratulate her longtime love Rich Paul’s daughter Reonna Simone on her college graduation, a fan-captured video shows.

At the Friday show — part of her popular Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum, Caesars Palace — the “Easy on Me” singer said, “It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend.”

"Her name is Reonna,” the musician said of the Clark Atlanta University graduate, adding, “So I love you, darling. Congratulations.”

The 16-time Grammy winner also revealed to the crowd that Reonna is the first member of her family to graduate from college, adding, “How amazing is that? It’s a f---ing vibe.”

“So they’re all in Atlanta, and they’re celebrating her,” she added of the new grad’s loved ones. “And obviously I’m here with you — wouldn’t be anywhere else — but I love you, baby. I love you!”

Celebrating her own graduation on Instagram, Reonna, who studied psychology at the Atlanta HBCU, wrote, “It’s been real CAU… The jewels that I am taking away from this experience are invaluable. This experience has truly been a dream.”

“In the beginning I had no direction of who I would be or where I would wanna go throughout my matriculation here. When I finally found my way... there was no looking back,” she continued. “Thank you CAU for the culture, community, opportunities and life experiences that money can’t buy. I am forever in debt to Clark Atlanta University. We made it.”

Adele — who shares an 11-year-old son, Angelo, with ex-husband Simon Konecki — has been publicly dating Rich, 42, since July 2021.

Ahead of the “Hello” artist’s 36th birthday earlier this month, sources exclusively told PEOPLE that she couldn't be happier with her career, relationship with Rich and life as a mom.

“Adele loves to perform and loves her audiences,” a music insider said of the singer’s recent Las Vegas performances, adding that she “is happy with her residency.”

The insider also said that her relationship with the sports agent is "solid.”

"They help each other and are good partners,” the source said, adding that Adele "loves being with him.”

Another source echoed this, telling PEOPLE that Adele "has been happy and enjoys her life as a parent and her time spent with Rich.” The pair “like to laugh” and “inspire each other,” the source added.

Months prior, as marriage rumors about the singer and the sports agent swirled in November 2023, an insider told PEOPLE that Adele was “ecstatically happy with Rich and has never been more buoyant, inspired and secure.”

Added the source: "We all want to be as happy as Adele.”
