physically restrain in a crisis situation.
Job Summary:
To provide instructional and technical assistance to meet the specialized needs of
exceptional students.
Qualifications:
1.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2.
Meet the requirements for the No Child Left Behind Act:
a.
Two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education; or
b.
Associate’s or higher degree; or
c.
Knowledge and ability to assist in instruction in core subjects as verified by a
rigorous state or local assessment.
3.
Completion of teacher aide course, or 3 years related experience; or equivalent
combination preferred.
4.
Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screening.

Pay Grade 6.
One hundred eighty-six days worked per year (10 months).
