Preschool Teacher

*Job Overview:* We are seeking an experienced and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our Head Start team.
Our early education teachers play a crucial role in the early development and education of young children from low-income and/or high risk homes.
You will create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children learn and grow intellectually and emotionally.
*Schedule: *Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm (you eat lunch with students, leave at 3:30 instead of 4pm).

Education:* CDA or FCCPC (minimum requirement); Associate's degree in education or related field preferred.
*Duties (Including, but not limited to):* - Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans - Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for children - Provide guidance and support to children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development - Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress - Monitor and assess each child's individual needs and progress - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment - Maintain accurate records of each child's attendance, progress, and behavior *Required Skills:* - Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Experience working with preschool-aged children - Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children - Knowledge of child development theories and practices - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students - Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and materials If you are passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on the lives of young children, we would love to hear from you.
