The Civil Engineering program at the Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the area of Environmental/Water Resources Engineering.
The position is planned to commence in August 2024 but could begin sooner if a suitable candidate is found.
It is intended primarily at the Assistant Professor level.
However, exceptional candidates with established scholarly records may be considered for higher-level appointments.
Applicants conducting research in all areas of environmental/water resources engineering will be considered.
Qualified applicants are expected to have an undergraduate degree in engineering and a Ph.
D.
in Environmental or Civil Engineering or a closely related field; excellent potential for teaching and research; and dedication to research, education, service, and professional activities.
Duties of a successful candidate include teaching undergraduate courses and graduate courses, mentoring graduate students, developing a strong externally funded research program, publishing scholarly work, and service.

The Department is also focused on providing an outstanding teaching experience to our students through small class sizes, one-on-one attention, and real-world, industry-sponsored capstone design projects.

The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
