Aoki Lee Simmons asks public to treat Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ children with ‘love and respect’: ‘It’s not their fault’
Aoki Lee Simmons is speaking up for Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children as the embattled music mogul faces several sex crime allegations.
“I think his daughters and children are such wonderful people, and I really hope you guys treat them with love and respect because they’re nice kids,” the 22-year-old said via Instagram Live Tuesday.
“It’s not their fault that anything — adults, that’s adult business, and they’re not adults.”
Simmons can likely relate to the Combs kids as her father, Russell Simmons, has been accused of sexual misconduct in the past, as well. The Def Jam Recordings co-founder, who was once good friends with Combs, has also denied all the allegations against him.
Aoki’s mother, Kimora Lee Simmons, was also best friends with Kim Porter, the late mother of Diddy’s 26-year-old son Christian Combs and 17-year-old twins Jessie and D’Lila. She died in 2018 from pneumonia.
The former Bad Boy Records exec has three other children — Justin Combs, 30, Chance Combs, 18, and Love Combs, 2 — from previous relationships. He also adopted Porter’s oldest son, Quincy Brown, 33.
Diddy’s children have maintained a united front while their father — who has denied all of the allegations against him — faces numerous criminal charges for sex trafficking, racketeering, fraud or coercion and transporting a prostitute.
Last week, they attended a court hearing, in which the “Last Night” rapper’s legal team tried to appeal the judge’s decision to keep him in prison without bail as he awaits trial, but the motion was again denied.
Diddy’s kids were seen exiting the courthouse at the time holding hands and having downcast looks on their faces following the judge’s ruling.
For the most part, they have not commented on the allegations against their dad, but some did release a joint statement in September when conspiracy theories about Diddy’s alleged involvement in Porter’s death began to circulate online.
“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship. As well as about our mom’s tragic passing. That we feel the need to speak out,” Quincy, Christian, Jessie and D’Lila said on their respective Instagram accounts at the time.
“While it has been incredibly difficult to reconcile how she could be taken from us too soon, the cause of her death has long been established. There was no foul play.”
A source told TMZ in September that Diddy is worried about his children while he awaits his trial Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center and “desperately” wanted to speak with them.
The insider added at the time that the family is “leaning on each other for support” and “turning to God for guidance and strength.”
Aoki reminded the public in her remarks that Diddy’s children are still young, adding, “My little cousins, they are in school. They are not adults, so please treat them like children.”
However, five out of the six kids are over the age of 18. Christian was also accused of sexual assault back in April.

A woman named Grace O’Marcaigh alleged in a filing obtained by Page Six at the time that “Pick a Side” rapper pressured her to drink tequila shots that she believed were spiked and proceeded to grope her.
Christian’s lawyer told Page Six at the time, “This is just another lewd and meritless claim from [lawyer] Tyrone Blackburn — just like what he filed in the Rodney Jones lawsuit, which he still has not served.
“This complaint is filled with the same kind of manufactured lies and irrelevant facts we’ve come to expect from Blackburn.”
