Scheana Shay: ‘Devastating’ Randall allegations were a ‘mind f—k’ for Lala Kent
It was hard for Lala Kent to wrap her head around the “devastating” allegations leveled at ex Randall Emmett, according to her good pal Scheana Shay.
“She felt very safe and to then find out how unsafe she was with this person, it’s just — pardon my French – a mind f—k,” Shay, 37, says of her “Vanderpump Rules” castmate, 32, on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast.
“It has been devastating, just all of the things that we have learned. And it’s crazy because she didn’t really know,” she continues. “She was blindsided with all of this information.”
In December 2022, Emmett’s ex-wife, Ambyr Childers, claimed in court documents that the 51-year-old was being investigated by the FBI for “suspected child exploitation and pedophilia.”

The Los Angeles Times then reported that they spoke to three other individuals who claimed the FBI contacted them about the filmmaker’s activities, too.
However, Emmett denied the existence of said probe and told Page Six the claims were both “disgusting and untrue.”
A spokesperson for the Bureau told us, “In keeping with DOJ policy, the FBI can neither confirm nor deny the existence of investigations.”

Last month, Emmett and Childers — who continue to share 50/50 custody of daughters London, 13, and Rylee, 9 — “settled their differences” with regard to the actress’ restraining order and custody amendment requests.
A series of more disturbing allegations against Emmett previously unraveled in the summer of 2022. The Los Angeles Times published an explosive exposé with claims ranging from so-called casting couch propositions to sending unsolicited messages to women about sex and drugs.

All the while, Kent has been fighting for full custody of 1-year-old daughter Ocean, whom she shares with the disgraced Hollywood producer.
“When she learned all of this information about him, I mean, absolutely heartbreaking. It’s not something anyone should ever be put through,” Shay says of the alleged allegations.
“The amount of bad things this person has done and the fact that she has to split custody of her child still, it’s heartbreaking,” the “Scheananigans” podcast host elaborates. “I just pray for her that this all works out, that she gets full custody of her baby girl because that’s where Ocean belongs.”
Kent seemingly addresses the accusations against Emmett on “Vanderpump Rules” Season 10, which premiered Feb. 8.
“I wanna know why people are accusing [Emmett] of the things they’re accusing him of,” she sobs to boss Lisa Vanderpump in the trailer.
The “Give Them Lala” author recently told Page Six that she does not specify Emmett’s alleged misdeeds on camera.
“My situation is very delicate, so I’m gonna steer clear of it,” she told us, praising her co-stars for “just know[ing] that there are some things that don’t need to be on television.”

Kent dumped then-fiancé Emmett in October 2021 after his alleged “double life” was revealed, including seeming proof of infidelity. His divorce from Childers, 34, was finalized in December 2017.
“Vanderpump Rules” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
