Dina Manzo says her shocking appearance in a new Instagram photo is the result of a two-year-old nose job and some other “tweaks.”
After fans went into a tizzy when Teresa Giudice posted the image of the ladies with pal Rosana Costa a few days ago, Manzo put up the same photo on Monday with an explanation.
“Ok I’m FLOODED with messages over this photo,” she shared on Instagram. “THANK YOU for the very very sweet messages saying I look great etc. I appreciate that more than you know. ❤️ Some of you are commenting that I look different. You’re absolutely right. When the thing on the center of your face changes you’re gonna look different lol.”
The “RHONJ” alum, 47, said, “Two years ago I got my nose fixed,” and, “Since I was going under anesthesia anyway (which I totally despise) I had @drghavami make a few tweaks so I didn’t have to go the filler route. I hate fillers plus they’re so damn expensive.”
She explained that she “had a really hard time adjusting” to her new nose for the first year, but now that her swelling has subsided, she has “grown to really like the new [her].”
She has been photographed since she went under the knife.
Manzo was an original cast member on “RHONJ” and most recently appeared on Season 6 (2014) as she was beginning her divorce proceedings from Tommy Manzo. She is now married to Dave Cantin and resides in California.
