Lisa Bloom is responding to Blac Chyna‘s claims that she’s trying to take a cut of any earnings she may win from her lawsuit against the Kardashians.
Bloom, who is no longer representing Chyna, filed a lien against Chyna for failing to pay for legal work she and her firm did for her in her ongoing lawsuit against Rob Kardashian and his family, The Blast reported. In response to the lien filing, Chyna submitted legal documents claiming she and Bloom never had a written agreement and requested the judge deny Bloom’s attempt to get any piece of the judgment she wins against Kardashian or his family.
She also claimed The Bloom Firm’s actions constituted “professional misconduct” and because Bloom dropped her as a client she waives her right to attorney fees.
Bloom, however, told Page Six that her “perfect bar record” would indicate otherwise.
“I’m proud of my perfect bar record after 33 years as an attorney. We fought hard for Blac Chyna for nearly two years,” she said. “Unfortunately, we had to withdraw for reasons we cannot disclose. We continue to believe in her case and wish her the best.”
Chyna sued Rob, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner for allegedly interfering with her and Rob’s reality series, “Rob & Chyna,” and causing producers and E! to cancel the show, which allegedly caused her substantial damages.
Bloom also represented Chyna after Rob posted revenge porn following their split.
