Dina Lohan isn’t suffering from alcoholism, family or drug problems — it was the paparazzi that caused her to drive drunk, a court-ordered evaluation has found.
Dina was back in court yesterday to face a DWI charge following her arrest on Sept. 12. Her lawyer Mark Heller has given the judge a report by an unnamed psychiatrist which reads, “There is no indication that Dina suffers from alcohol abuse or dependency. Her record is remarkably unblemished. Therefore, treatment is not being recommended. It is [my] professional opinion that the circumstances leading to Dina’s arrest were largely impacted from the ongoing daily stresses caused by the paparazzi, the media attention and distorted tabloid character profiles.”
Despite all the non-distorted reported drama in the Lohan family, the evaluator continued, “It is my hope that the court will take the circumstances and challenges of Dina’s lifestyle in consideration.”
Lindsay Lohan had brought her mother to the courthouse in Hempstead, LI, on Wednesday.
Dina, 51, earlier pleaded not guilty to DWI after she was pulled over on Northern State Parkway.
Police said she tested a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.
Dina, who claims she was being followed when she was pulled over by police, is due back in court Nov. 21.
