Rep. Jerry Nadler was short on thanks at the unveiling of the Pershing Square Signature Theatre in his district yesterday morning. The Democratic congressman touted the major players involved in opening the theater at the event attended by Mayor Bloomberg, Christine Quinn and Ed Norton, but skipped over hedge-fund honcho Bill Ackman, who made a $25 million contribution. The theater is even named after Ackman’s fund, Pershing Square Capital Management. Nadler’s rep called his omission an “oversight.” When asked if Nadler had an issue with big business leaders like Ackman, the rep said, “He has nothing against the guy. He’s very thankful and appreciative.”
