We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with payroll and FMLA administration experience to join our team in the East Orlando Support Center.
This position plays a critical role in supporting our crewmembers with payroll processing, benefits administration, leave management, and engagement activities and events.
Position is hybrid eligible after initial training period.
Compensation for this role begins at $66,000/year.
What will I be doing in this role?
Biweekly payroll processing including, but not limited to, timekeeping import, paid leave reimbursement/exchange requests, incentives, garnishments, and benefit deduction management
Administer leave programs including FMLA, ADA, workers compensation, and personal leaves.
Acts as lead for inquiries and support and ensures timely and compliant response
Support benefits administration processes, including approval of benefit enrollments and changes, COBRA administration, and vendor invoice reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations
Manage operational duties associated with the crewmember lifecycle - onboarding, promotions, transfers, and offboarding – including submission of all associated helpdesk tickets, setup/deactivation in all systems, document upload and system role/access management
Assist in planning and organizing annual party and crewmember engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs and wellness activities
Serves as a primary point of contact for crewmember inquiries related to compensation, benefits, leaves, and HR policies and procedures
Supports department with ad hoc reporting inquiries, mail delivery, internal and external audits, and other administrative duties as needed
What experience do I need for this role?
Minimum of 2 years experience in payroll, benefits, and leave administration, preferably in a large scale corporate environment
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field
Proficient use of HRIS systems
Ultimate/Kronos a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion when dealing with sensitive situations, understanding the personal and emotional aspects involved in FMLA and ADA discussions
Proven ability to communicate complex information in a clear and professional manner, both verbally and in writing
Previous experience with corporate event planning preferred
