*SUMMARY*
We are seeking an Audit Senior with experience in Governmental auditing.
As an Audit Senior, you'll collaborate with companies to initially comprehend their businesses and the risks they face, channeling efforts where they are most impactful.
You'll be an integral part of a team of problem solvers, contributing to resolving intricate business challenges from strategy development to implementation.
Collaborate with clients to enhance their overall financial reporting processes and provide insights into better understanding their businesses.
Keep clients continuously informed about accounting, financial, and regulatory developments that could potentially influence their operations.
This role will involve travel.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* include the following.

· Acquire a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives, and apply this knowledge during engagements.
· Lead client engagements from initiation to completion, encompassing planning, execution, direction, and the culmination of financial audits, all while adhering to budget constraints.
· Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns, guiding them through the audit process and evaluating staff performance for engagement reviews.
Step into the in-charge role as necessary.
· Collaborate with the audit team to identify and resolve client issues uncovered during the audit process.
· Conduct research and in-depth analysis of financial statements.
· Nurture and sustain positive working relationships with clients to elevate client satisfaction.
Collaborate with client management and personnel across all levels to effectively deliver services.
· Participate in regular professional development and training sessions.
*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*
· Bachelor's degree in accounting from a regionally accredited college or university.
· Three plus years of Public Accounting experience to include governmental experience, i.
e.
State Universities & Colleges, School Districts, Counties, Healthcare Districts, Housing Finance Authorities, Municipalities, State Agencies, Transportation Authorities, and/or Utility Authorities.

· Active Certified Public Accountant license or equivalent recognized by the firm (e.

, Chartered Professional Accountant) preferred.
· Active driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.
