Reading in a rainy day 📚📚📚 I am not tech savvy but this book helps me to understand what digital transformation is; and those successful cases shared invaluable experiences how their transformation journey were, their obstacles and ways to move forward ⏩️⏩️⏩️ Following key notes are critical to everybody should know: ⭐️ Digitalization or digital optimization is far away different from digital transformation. Digitalization or digital optimization is using digital as a tool to enhance operations performance or lower the cost; digital transformation is flipping the original business model ⭐️ Effectiveness is about “do the right thing” while efficiency is when you decide to do something, should identify the appropriate way to do it (do the thing right) Sometime, I’d imagine if no pandemic in past three years, would we still strive for adapting ourselves into technology evolution? - - - Yes and No Thanks Kenneth Kong for introducing me this book!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Let’s drive the digital transformation together!!! 🤝🏻🤝🏻🤝🏻

Staff engagement is a key enabler for addressing business imperatives such as profitability , growth and sustainability . Harter, et al Journal of applied psychology (2002), indicates that highly engaged staff creates a potential 12% higher profit growth , 3.44 points higher net profit margin , 18% greater productivity and 12% higher customer satisfaction . All these are key matrices for any business leader. One of my previous bosses had a saying "its the soft initiatives that drive the hard results". Instead of just pushing numbers and focusing on the hardware , fix the software and have those qualitative deep conversations. Highly engaged staff create quality as opposed to quantity.
