🤔 Planning an HR Tech change in 2025? After guiding numerous companies across ANZ through their HR tech selections and implementations, I've learned that success often comes down to what you do BEFORE you start looking at / googling vendors. I've just shared an article about what actually matters when choosing new HR technology - from avoiding the feature trap (those shiny tools you'll never use!) to understanding the real costs beyond just licence fees. Plus some crucial NZ-specific considerations that global advice often misses (yes, macron support / timezones/ date format etc. really matter!) If you're starting to think about HR tech changes for 2025, now is exactly the right time to begin planning. The most common feedback we hear? "I wish we'd known this before we started looking at vendors."

I've had a bit of a rough patch these last few weeks (hello laryngitis and work travel combining with exam-season parenting 🥴 ) which has slightly delayed my annual HR trends research. But I'm back and eager to dive into understanding what will shape New Zealand's HR landscape in 2025! 🇳🇿 Every year, I notice how global and APAC reports don't quite capture the unique dynamics of our local market. That's why I'm reaching out to senior HR/People leaders across Aotearoa to gather your insights and perspectives. I'd love to chat over a coffee or wine (my shout!) about where you see HR heading next year. These conversations will feed into my annual NZ HR Trends Report, which will be released in mid-January. I'll be visiting Wellington on the 11th of December and Christchurch on the 12th, as well as catching up with folks here in Tāmaki Makaurau. Can't make it in person? No worries - happy to connect online too. You can book a spot that suits you below or comment below/DM me and I'll get in touch! https://lnkd.in/gMETnjUq

  • AI in HR—who’s actually using it in New Zealand? Jane Ward was having a chat with one of our lovely clients Lara Prentice about AI in HR and now we are really interested to know—who’s actually putting it to use in HR? Whether you’ve started experimenting with it or you’re already seeing results, We'd love to hear about your experiences—what’s been working, what hasn’t, and any surprises along the way. We thought we would throw together a super casual roundtable for anyone keen to swap stories and ideas about AI in HR. No formalities, just a relaxed conversation! In the very early stages of planning here but we thought others would be keen! If this sounds like something you’d be into, drop a comment or a DM—we’d love to have you join us! #HRTech #AIinHR #HRNewZealand #NZHR #Innovation #AIFuture
