You do not need a referral to make an appointment with us and we have no surcharge for ACC patients.

I’m having lots of fun showing Hand Therapists in New Zealand how to work with X-lite. Really excited about using this biodegradable thermoplastic - the tree-hugger in me is smiling! Here’s a time-lapse video using a 5cm roll, over Neal water repellent undercast, to make a wrist/thumb spica. It is as rigid as a fibreglass cast, but when it’s time to progress, it can be cut off with scissors, and made removable (similar to Softcast). It is lightweight, totally ventilated, super-strong, and great to be able to shower / swim etc while immobilized in a cast! Game-changer for patients!!
