‘Golden Bachelorette’ star Joan Vassos claps back at Martha Stewart for snide remarks: ‘What’s wrong with you?’

The most dramatic feud ever.

Joan Vassos of “The Golden Bachelorette” hit back at Martha Stewart for shading the ABC reality show and its contestants.

Stewart — who got divorced in 1990 and remains unmarried — made it clear that she’d never go on “The Golden Bachelorette” during her appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” on Sunday.

“Not at all … absolutely not,” the 83-year-old said when asked if she’d be interested in doing the show.

Stewart then declared that “the guys aren’t hot enough.”

Two days later, Vassos — the 61-year-old first-ever lead of “The Golden Bachelorette” — addressed Stewart’s remarks in an interview with Access Hollywood.

“I DMed her last night,” Vassos revealed. “I don’t know if she’s read it yet, but I did.”

Vassos said she told Stewart, “Dating is hard out there and I had a great group of guys.”

“She doesn’t know ‘em like I know ‘em,” she added. “I got to know the inside of them as well as the outside, and both are wonderful.”

The Maryland native also praised the producers for selecting the right crop of mostly 60-year-olds who are vying to become the Mr. Joan Vassos.

“The team did a great job of picking. What they’re about and their backstories, they’re all so wonderful. They are there for a reason,” Vassos said.

“When they got out of the limos that first night, every single one of them did something memorable and made me want to get to know them more,” she recalled.

Vassos added, “I guess Martha Stewart didn’t watch or didn’t see what I saw in them. Maybe you have to be in person. They are special guys. I feel like everyone’s falling in love with them. I’m like, ‘What’s wrong with you, Martha?’”

The reality star then said Stewart should be invited to the finale so she can meet the guys that she judged in person.

Stewart has been private about her love life in the 34 years since her marriage to ex-husband Andrew fell apart.

The former couple were married for nearly three decades and had a daughter together, Alexis, before Andrew left Stewart for her assistant, Robyn Fairclough.

But before their split, Stewart had an affair that she kept secret from everyone — including Andrew — until earlier this month.

The bombshell came out in the trailer for Stewart’s new Netflix documentary, where, after telling other women to leave their marriages if they’ve been cheated on, a producer asked Stewart if she herself had an affair.

“Yeah, but I don’t think Andy ever knew about that,” she said.

Back in 2020, Stewart said getting divorced “was a terrible thing” for her.

She more recently confirmed that she hasn’t spoke to Andrew in over 20 years.
