Destiny’s Child might not be independent women anymore.
Fans are convinced the iconic trio is alluding to a potential reunion after changing their Twitter and Facebook header photos.
Destiny’s Child, which was founded in 1997 when they signed to Columbia Records, was once comprised of Beyoncé Knowles, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.
When Knowles exited the group in 2005, all three women began their solo careers but stayed close friends.
In April, Knowles and Williams Zoomed into pregnant Rowland’s delivery room to be there for their friend and ex-pop group member.
In the most recent Destiny’s Child news, Williams suggested she wouldn’t be opposed to a group reunion. Despite joining the group after the exit of LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson, she said in May that a collab “would actually be something.”
Now, the group has everyone saying their name as reunion rumors circulate on Twitter.
“Manifesting a destiny’s child reunion,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
But the group’s members have yet to confirm any of the gossip.
Earlier this year, though, Knowles told Harpar’s Bazaar that she was cooking up some new music. The announcement came after Williams shared a never-before-heard audio recording of the gal pals catching up — which also fueled reunion rumors.
Knowles’ father Matthew, who is still the group’s manager, told TMZ that there are no plans for a reunion right now. He said the header photo change was a run-of-the-mill social media update.
While the jury’s still out on an iconic Destiny’s Child reunion, hopefully fans won’t lose their breath holding out on just a rumor.
