Our Customer Satisfaction Index score is 9.7 on a scale of 1-10, the highest overall score in the Agency of the Year 2024 survey conducted by independent research consultancy Regi Ab. We achieved Best Practice status in eight of the eight categories surveyed: - Overall score - Brand competency - Knowledge of the client's business - Knowledge of end-customer and target groups - Knowledge of the client's industry - Commitment - Administrative practices - Customer's perceived business benefits   KarpaloGroup's overall customer satisfaction score has increased since last year. In terms of overall scores, we were therefore number one in the entire survey. This is despite the fact that this year, our gold award was replaced by silver. The criteria for the awards have changed, so there is now a slight difference between the survey itself and the competition. We have been successful for several years in a row and it feels incredibly good. I feel a great sense of pride and joy and at the same time, in a traditional Finnish way, I don’t want to get too proud or forget the enormous professionalism, continuous development and depth of knowledge that this requires from all of us. Planning the marketing of medicines and health-critical products requires special skills. Successful marketing is a good service, and you cannot achieve that without a deep understanding of the product, the regulation, the industry and the market. There are no shortcuts in pharma marketing or the health sector in general. Doing pharma marketing means having to constantly learn new things and understanding the “why” cannot be left to just a few people in charge; every single person in our company is an expert in this specialised field. Together, we strive for high quality to achieve the best possible results for our customers. In this process, everyone plays an important role. This week offered many positive surprises. I had the privilege of working with my knowledgeable colleague Carl-Henrik Lagnefors for Rezon AB with the Swedish Armed Forces training "Understanding Group and Leader". Not only did we meet twelve engaged course participants who generously shared experiences and new learnings, but we also found mushrooms during our walk — proof that “treasures” can be found when you least expect them.   One topic this week, was how a growth mindset increases possibilities for learning, personal development, and resilience (the ability to bounce back from setbacks). A growth mindset assumes that: i) abilities can be developed; ii) challenges can be handled, and; iii) failures can be seen as learning opportunities.   I hope this autumn offers you many “treasures” – whether it is in the shape of new learnings or tasty mushrooms. Good news for families navigating the work permit process! As of October 25, 2024, families with co-applicant children under five years old can now benefit from a streamlined digital passport check through the Swedish Migration Agency’s e-service. This update, integrated into the Freja app, simplifies the process significantly: rather than requiring individual app accounts, parents can simply add their child’s passport to their own app when sharing passport details. The Swedish Migration Agency no longer requires separate identity checks for young children under five; only a valid passport scan is needed—no photo or identity verification necessary. Thank you Tidningen Market for including WeSports in another insightful article – this time regarding the current state of the Swedish sports sector!   According to Market's review, of 190 companies, the sports industry experienced a modest improvement in 2023, with net sales rising by 1%. Despite ongoing challenges, since the pandemic, there are signs of recovery – with WeSports standing out as one of the top performers.   In 2023, we achieved over 1,7 billion SEK in net sales, reflecting a 9,7% year-on-year increase, which is well above the market average.   WeSports' platform, which includes over 40 companies such as Addnature, Cykelkraft, and Pölder Sport AB, played a crucial role in our success, by reaching a broad audience across multiple categories.   Additionally, WeSports and Passa Sports were the only two companies in the review that managed to improve the operating profit, compared to the previous year. I need to share this. As most of you know by now, Pay Transparency is a vital piece for HR the coming years. With such an impactful change happening by full force less than two years from now, the traction is building up. I have been wondering when mainstream and public media would pick this up to be frank. Pick up on the fundamental change in the power balance between applicants and employers. Pick up on the end of pay secrecy. Understanding what potentially can be the piece that can lead to true pay equity. Big ticket items, and a massive change. When mainstream media picks up on it, that is when knowledge around its impact accelerates fast. When employees start asking questions (and sets expectations). Then it is no longer an upcoming HR project. It becomes an immediate necessity to have a plan, and to be able to communicate this plan. SWIPEFINDER IN THE NEWS Had a great chat with Jenny Folkesson at Dagens Media about Swipefinder and how we can turn the 10 minute frustration of trying to get to find something to watch/eat into a fun discovery session using our four swipe moves. Swipe right for YES, I want to watch and left for NO, I don’t. Swipe up for MAYBE later and down for SEEN it. We want to solve actual problems in people’s lives like what to watch, what to eat, where to travel and what to wear by making those simple swipe choices. We want to implement this where you go to solve the these everyday problems. Into TV-Channel apps/sites and news papers guides for film/series. Into recipe websites and general news publications for what to cook and travel mags and flight planners for where to travel. Best part is the users get a great help navigating these choices by swiping ads that already exists, usually as paid ads and organic vertical video content on social media. This way, we help news publishers and broadcasters, pillars of our democracy, get much needed ad revenue that did not exist before.
