  • Last week, we gathered our international sales team from 5 countries for an inspiring learning session focused on: * Product expertise💡 * Understanding the customer’s perspective👥 * Team building🤝 As part of the program, the teams built benches from scratch – judged on quality and time. This hands-on experience gave them a valuable insight into what it takes to deliver the high-quality furniture we’re known for. The result? Energy, learning, and collaboration💪 And the finished benches? They’ll be donated to the local community in Moss – bringing people together for decades to come!

  • Vestre aims to become the world’s most sustainable furniture manufacturer🙌 We believe that everyone can help save the world. A little. That’s why we manufacture our products as environmentally friendly as possible. Seek solutions where none exist. And share how we are doing it—to inspire others to do the same✨   Now, we’ve taken yet another significant environmental step forward, by becoming the first furniture manufacturer to use SSAB’s fossil-free steel in commercial production. Why? Because we’re investing in a brighter future💚 #fossilfreesteel #thenewstrengthofsteel #sustainabledesign #urbanfurniture

  • Vestre has a vision of creating social meeting places with focus on sustainability, quality and design. These values are deeply integrated in all parts of the company, and we work every day to do a little bit better in the belief that everyone can change the world. A little.    In this podcast from Deloitte, Vestre's CEO Bjørn Fjellstad talks about value-based management, the importance of celebrating small and big milestones, our work on continuous improvement and how to take a Norwegian company abroad. And how to combine all this with a little bit of madness.    The podcast is in Norwegian. Listen here👇

  • The sun shone over Studsvik as we celebrated the opening of Better Energy's newest solar park in Sweden today☀️🇸🇪 What makes this solar park special is that the amount of energy Vestre is offtaking will make our entire Swedish operation fully renewable! This achievement marks a significant step toward our long-term goal of providing more energy back to the grid than we consume as a company and minimize our environmental impact. The opening event at the solar park offered an opportunity to hear from local stakeholders and organizations who contributed to establishing the park. Our CEO, Bjørn Fjellstad, took the stage to share how this renewable energy Power Purchasing Agreement positively impacts our sustainability strategy and business, highlighting our commitment to green energy and how it helps increase the overall amount of renewable energy in the system. Together, we can drive the change needed to ensure a healthier planet for future generations! #solarpower #renewableenergy

We also gained invaluable insights into the dynamics of our largest market🙏 On top of that, we’re thrilled by the amazing feedback on TELLUS—the world’s first bench made from fossil-free steel. We truly appreciate all the support💚 #ASLA2024
