Vår Energi 2024 was intense - as to be expected when you are the fastest growing oil and gas company in the world: ✔️ Safe operations - no serious injuries in 2024  ✔️ Onboarding our new colleagues from Neptune Energy  ✔️ Successful exploration campaigns across the entire NCS, with commercial discoveries around all key assets, Goliat, Gjøa and Ringhorne/Balder ✔️ Hard work and steady progress on our projects, maturing and developing our future production ✔️ Great ESG performance - accelerated decarbonisation of operations  Now, time to re-charge batteries. I appreciate the Christmas holidays. The pace comes down (a bit), and you are reminded of the value of true relationships. New oil discovery near Goliat - unlocks further potential in the Barents Sea! The successfull Countach appraisal well holds preliminary estimated gross recoverable resources between 4 to 25 million barrels of oil, bringing the total estimated recoverable resources in the Countach discovery to 10 to 55 million barrels. 👍 🏆 The discovery confirms the potential of the Goliat ridge, where additional gross prospective recoverable resources of over 100 million barrels of oil will be assessed with the planned drilling program in 2025. 👉More on our website. #vårenergi #varenergi #oilandgas #energi #barents

Oil and gas discovery in the Fram area in the North Sea 😀💪!! We congratulate operator Equinor for their safe and successful drilling operation, which again proves the potential in the highly prolific area. The preliminary estimate of recoverable resources of the discovery are between 13 – 28 million barrels of oil equivalent. 👉 Its close proximity to existing infrastructure provides further opportunities for a low emission and cost-efficient development 🛠 . The Fram area has seen extensive exploration successes in recent years. We see great potential in creating further value and activity by unlocking new resources, increase energy production and develop new infrastructure in the Barents Sea. In meeting with energy minister Terje Aasland and other key political stakeholders in Harstad recently, EVP Ellen Waldeland Hoddell presented our plans to intensify exploration and infill drilling in the region. 👉 Over the next four years we plan to drill 20 exploration wells in the Barents Sea, expected to hold half of the remaining undiscovered petroleum resources on the NCS. The perfect gift for a 25-year old! 🎁 😀. Together with licence partner Kistos Energy (Norway) AS, we are set to go ahead with the Balder Phase V project - a fast-track development that will significantly contribute to our production and value creation long into the future for the Balder area in the North Sea. Production from the Balder field started in 1999 and so far, 273 million barrels of oil and gas are produced and delivered to the market. 👉 Balder Phase V will develop about 33 million barrels of oil from the field - at a break-even price of about 30 USD per barrel. Drilling starts in the first half of 2025. Strong financial results in the third quarter 2024! 🏆 Delivering resilient operational and financial results in line with guidance: ✅ Production of 281 kboepd in the first nine months of 2024, in line with expectations ✅ Continued realised gas price above spot and strong cash flow from operations of USD 1.3 billion in the quarter ✅ Full-year unit production cost guidance reduced to less than 13 USD/boe ✅Adding ~150 kboepd of valuable growth towards Q3 2025 ✅ Dividend of USD 270 million (NOK 1.180 per share) for the third quarter will be distributed 5 November As one of the world’s fastest growing E&Ps we are poised for significant production increase over the next three quarters. Great to see the Johan Castberg floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) anchored at the field in the Barents Sea!
