Earlier this week we had the honor of a visit to Oslo by CEO and President Samaila Zubairu and Executive Director & Chief Investment Officer Sameh Shenouda from our member and strategic partner Africa Finance Corporation.  We had meaningful discussions with Norad - Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation and the State Secretary for International Development at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bjorg Sandkjaer. This visit was a significant step towards strengthening partnerships aimed at driving sustainable development and investment in Africa. Key topics included innovative financing solutions, infrastructure development, and collaborative projects designed to enhance economic growth across the continent. The dialogue highlighted the importance of international cooperation in addressing developmental challenges and unlocking new opportunities for progress. Business Mission to South Africa - Mining Indaba February 2025 NABA is hosting a business mission to South Africa, and the 2025 Mining Indaba, taking place in Cape Town from February 03 - 06. 🇳🇴 🇨🇮 The Norwegian-African Business Association (NABA) and Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP) had the pleasure of hosting a Norwegian delegation to Côte d'Ivoire last week participating in the SIREXE conference in Abidjan, where Norway were invited as the Guest of Honour by the Government of Côte d'Ivoire. We showcased Norway's commitment to fostering collaboration and shared valuable insights on our approaches to sustainable solutions within the energy sector. It was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen partnerships and exchange ideas with our counterparts in Côte d'Ivoire. The Norwegian Pavilion was furnished by Nouvelle MICI Embaci - a leading recycled paper-based packaging company in Côte d’Ivoire.
