Om oss

At Nobia, we design kitchens for life. To us, that means developing well-designed, functional, and emotionally conceptualised kitchens that speak to the hearts and minds of our customers, kitchens that enable a sustainable lifestyle and reduced climate impact. We are thirteen strong local brands that benefit from advantages of working together. With operations that incorporate the entire value chain from design to installation, we are driven by a shared ambition to lead the way in design and sustainability in our industry. Together, we form a European kitchen specialist. We manufacture a wide range of products, from flat-pack cabinets to high-quality customised products. Nobia has 10 production facilities in five countries in Europe. Our production facilities vary in size and have differing levels of specialisation. The majority of Nobia’s plants are certified in accordance with ISO 14001. We manufacture a total of about 3,5 million cabinets or around 300,000 kitchens a year. It’s all down to each and every one of our 4,500 employees, and the room we give them to learn, grow, build, innovate and to be proud of the work they do every day. Brands: CIE, Commodore, Granarp, Gower, HTH, Intuo, Invita, Magnet, Marbodal, Norema, Sigdal, SuperFront, and uno form

Five years ago, the bold decision was made to invest in Europe’s most modern and automated kitchen factory in Jönköping, Sweden. We have made significant progress month by month, year by year, despite facing challenges that naturally arise from doing something that has never been done before. By the end of this year, we will have manufacturing capabilities to produce the kitchens of tomorrow. – I am so proud of everyone working with this transformative project. It is very exciting to see it coming to life. Together, we are about to write history. This is more than just a factory – it is a true manifestation of our ambition to lead the European kitchen market, says Samuel Dalén, Executive Vice President Supply Chain. #Nobia #WeLeadTheWay #DesigningKitchensForLife #Marbodal #HTH #Norema #Jönköping #Factory

2024 is a special year for Nobia, as two of our kitchen brands mark their 100th and 50th anniversaries, respectively. 🎉 Our Swedish brand Marbodal is celebrating a century, and our Danish brand INVITA a half-century of craftsmanship heritage and sustainable design. They have successfully navigated and developed through challenging and prosperous times and know how to design quality kitchens that will be loved for generations to come. Congratulations to our two-anniversary jubilarians for designs that stand the test of time! #Nobia #WeLeadTheWay #DesigningKitchensForLife #Marbodal #Invita

  • When considering the hybrid way of working, it's essential to nurture team connections. At Nobia Vilnius, we blend knowledge and food with our Nobia Breakfast tradition. Monthly, we invite everyone to visit the office and have some quality time together. First, we get to know our colleagues better from the professional side, learn more about each team, or have interesting presentations about different hobbies. Then, we gather in our cozy office kitchen for delicious food, coffee, and friendly chats, setting the tone for the month ahead. #NobiaPeople #DesigningKitchensforLife #OfficeTraditions

  • Earlier this month, our Finnish kitchen brand Novart, Nobia Finland, participated in one of Finland's biggest Food and Beverage-events, the Food Fair Ruokamessut. Novart's Brand Manager Ulla Kotila took the stage to talk about kitchen trends for the future. Finnish consumers are known to look for practicaility in the kitchen. In addition, these kitchen trends will melt the Finnish heart for years to come: 🌲 Warm wood surfaces Wood in different interior styles, ranging from minimalistic kitchens to more rich interiors ♻ Responsible choices Natural materials and surfaces, and design that stands the test of time 🌞 Coziness A soft, muted colour palette and warm tones that go well with wood. – To reduce our dependency on nature's scarce resources, driven by overconsumtion, we need to start at the design table. We want to move away from design collections that customers quickly get tired of. Therefore, we reject materials and colors that we do not believe in long term, to help customers make sustainable choices in the kitchen, says Herman Persson, Design Director at Nobia. #Nobia #WeLeadTheWay #DesigningKitchensForLife #Novart #Finland

  • Nobia's goal is to become the sustainability and design leader in the kitchen industry. Want to know how we are keeping up?    Last week, we published our Sustainability Report for 2023. Here’s what we have accomplished:    ⛳ We lowered our GHG-emissions by a whopping 79% since 2016, surpassing our Science Based Target of 72%.    🌍 61% of our most climate impacting suppliers have now adopted science-based climate targets. Our target to 2025 is to encourage 70% to do so, thereby reducing the climate impact in our value chain.  💚 We started gearing up for the next generation targets. Aiming for a net-zero climate impact, we focus on reducing the environmental footprint of products at every step throughout the value chain.    – The climate crisis is challenging our world and we need to take urgent action to lower our dependency of nature’s scarce resources. As Europe’s leading kitchen specialist, we have great responsibility to lead the way in sustainability, but also the ability to drive change, says Anna Hamnö Wickman, Sustainability Director at Nobia.     Read more about what we have accomplished in our Annual Report and Sustainability Report 2023 here: https://lnkd.in/dx53fefq #Nobia #Sustainability #WeLeadTheWay #DesigningKitchensForLife

  • Today, on International Women’s Day, we recognize all the superwomen working at Nobia and beyond. ✨   This isn’t just another date on the calendar. It’s a time to unite, celebrate women’s achievements, and stand together against discrimination.    In a world that is becoming more polarised and divided, it is crucial that individuals of all genders and backgrounds work together with equal rights and possibilities.    We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, heard, and valued, not just today, but every day of the year. 🌈   – As Europe’s leading kitchen specialist, we have great responsibility to lead the way in strengthening diversion and inclusion, but also the ability to make a difference. We will not settle – our work to strengthen diversity continues, says Cecilia Forzelius, Executive Vice President People, Culture & Communications at Nobia.    #WeLeadTheWay #Nobia #DesigningKitchensForLife
