We had a packed house at the October meetup! We want to thank our host, NorthCode, for the opportunity to have great space for networking 🤗 🗣️ After Hanna Saari opening the event, the first actual presentation was about reusable GitHub actions. Teemu Vesala showed his gained expertise and the modularity of config files in the live demo. 🗣️ Our second presentation was also about GitHub actions, but how to run them serverless, not in one, but three different clouds. Juho Saarinen with a background in physics went to the smallest details and showed what these meetups are all about! 🗣️ Last but not least, Victor Rincon broke the patterns and did not talk about GitHub actions, but about his views on how to do SRE without knowing what SRE is. He even gave us his own definition for SRE. It was lovely to be at Finnair's HOTT offices on Tuesday afternoon for the #HelsinkiJS meetup, and as a side benefit get some of the delicious blueberry juice that my kids and I look forward to drinking on our Finnair flights.
