I am excited to share that I have successfully passed the Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I) certification from Scrum.org. This certification validates my knowledge of the Scrum framework and my ability to support and enable value creation and delivery. Earning PSPO I shows my understanding of how to bridge the gap between strategy and agile product management in order to create valuable products using Scrum.

Does your team see Planet Earth as a stakeholder? It only takes less than 30 minutes of your time to listen to this podcast episode 👇🏻, and then you know how a focus on the carbon footprint of IT does not only help this special stakeholder, but the team and the organization as well. This podcast isn't limited to the "why" of a green mindset. It provides concrete tips and examples about how to start with the dialogue within your team. Worth the time!

𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁? Recently I was with a customer developing software products using multiple scrum teams. When teams started working on a certain feature, only high level architecture was defined. This might leave nice responsibilities to the scrum team. But it is not helping in developing efficiently. Additional discussions are needed to clear out the architecture further. This slows you down. And the architectural outcome might be more complex; you might need more time to develop. Having architectural design well in place not only enables efficient sprints. It also enables developing reusable software. Which really accelerates your development cycles. It allows you to build on proven, tested components rather than starting from scratch each time. Regardless of how you handle architectural design, it’s crucial to prepare the necessary level of detail before the sprint that implements the functionality begins. Whether it's work for a dedicated architect or the Scrum team itself, it’s essential to organize this effectively. Curious to hear your perspective on this. Last day of the Online Scrum Master summit 2024. As for the previous days, the topics look exciting today and spark my curiosity. As always, Bob Galen 🇺🇦's session looks promising, as I hear a lot of Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches telling me not enough attention is given to what they bring to their team(s). Well, could it be that we are falling short on communicating that, on making it visible to others? Consequence is that when faced with budget constraints, organizations usually get rid of their coaches first. Interestingly, you wouldn't consider having a football/soccer team without a coach, or would you? Yes companies do that, sadly... Well, anyway, join us, it's free! See you there... #osms24 #agile #scrum

📖 Weekend's Munch - A Perfect Book Byte 📖 ✍ Received this "Excellent Penmanship by 🥋Chris Lukassen & Robbin Schuurman" after a long wait but must say it's a worth waiting as it gets to the heart of "Practical Product Management". ✍ 🌟 As a "Practicing Product Leader", I appreciate this book since it is not an encyclopedia of Product Management, but rather a great overview of it, one that I can readily hand out to help start conversations, spark discussions, and paint a picture of where we need to go. 🌟 Few key takeaways are here - 💡 Provides an effective behaviors, more practical & actionable guide toward product development in an agile context than other text’s I have read 💡Usages of the most important "6 Stance Concepts" with real time examples 💡Comprehensive talking about both the processes & practices 💡Insights of describing a framework, stakeholder management in complex environment and the mindset that helps people to consider ways to solve their own problems 🚀 This book is my top recommendation for Team leaders, product managers or anyone who is looking to adopt more product, customer and outcome centric ways of work should read this book as it provides a "bird's eye view" of "Product management". They tackled this head on, so succinctly & effortlessly. 🚀 #happyweekend #upskilling Xebia #productownership #productmanagement #agile #product #learning #practical
