This city is home to the most billionaires in the world. But there is no way to understand it from their behavior. The population is 8 lakhs but the number of bi-cycles is 1.7 million. That is, each person has a minimum of two bicycles. Young or old officers, businessmen, professionals, students - women or men all go to work by bicycle. They feel no need to drive expensive cars. And they are so advanced in engineering technology that infrastructure is built by them all over the world. I heard that most of Dubai's water infrastructure was built by Dutch companies. We should be proud as a nation. The more I learned about these hard working Dutch people, the more I thought about them. If we have a little money, we get busy to show it off. I saw a native here buying a big car, I thought maybe he bought it for the convenience of shopping but no. The car stays in the garage. I found out that they drive that car only when going to dinner. It was not difficult to understand that this big car was bought to show off to friends. We Indian are people of ethnically poor country. That means all come from poor families compared to other rich countries. But when you come abroad and think about buying houses and cars, you will think that we all come from zamindar families. Here, the competition to think ourselves rich or rise in caste by buying an expensive car or building a house clearly shows our Faukinian background. It is very important that we get out of this mentality. Because the world has come a long way. There is no point in showing off these little things. Only fools waste time on who has what, what not. As a person, if you can use your talents and abilities, you will increase your self-esteem and you will be able to grow in the eyes of the society and the nation. It was 4,400 Kg in total and killed between 70 and 80 thousand people immediately. Last year, when I visited Hiroshima, I was moved to my core by the commitment of the people to be a stand for peace. After such atrocity, they choose peace. You could feel it everywhere, even as you knew you walked on the bones of the dead. My time there in Hiroshima was one of the most profound days of my life. The Novel Prize for Peace for 2024 went to Nihon Hidankyō, a Hiroshima-created initiative to achieve a world free of nuclear weapons. Such a wise choice to contrast the cruelty and horror of the Middle East. And the bulldozers today, driven by settlers, reduce Palestinian homes in the West Bank to rubble. Imagine if someone came and bulldozed your home down because they believed they had the right to do so? No sanctions. Limp wrist slaps and faux anger. More money. A lot more money. Hate festers. Gaza is not just a southern region in the beautiful country of Palestine. Gaza is also a mirror in which we see our own values reflected. Gaza is a struggle between good and evil. Gaza is a battle between the powerful and the just. Gaza is a momentous fight for the soul of Mankind. There are no “human animals”. There are only peaceful, native people and the racist, White men that covet their land. Like a morbid, historical re-enactment society, these greedy Berzerkers are intent on stealing everything from the native people just like our ancestors did in Australia, India, Africa and the Americas. You may know us from the sit-ins that take place every Thursday at noon in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Netherlands. As civil servants, we understand the importance of international law. We took an oath to the Constitution, including Article 90 which states that the government shall promote the international rule of law. It is up to politics to set out policy. But politics also has to abide by our Constitution and international treaty obligations. It is up to government officials to point out to politicians when policies (potentially) violate international law. And we take that task- that duty - very seriously. We expect our government to work tirelessly to ensure consistent compliance with international law. Specifically, we make four demands to the Dutch government and expect it to use all diplomatic means to achieve the following: 1. Maximum commitment to an immediate and permanent ceasefire and full humanitarian access to Gaza. 2. An end to all forms of support for and justification of Israel's current military conduct in Gaza and recognition of international humanitarian law; 3. Democratic Nations Do Not Support Genocide, Fascist Governments Do! It is shameful and fascistic what the Dutch Parliament has just done! The majority of the parties voted against the arms embargo to Israel. In other words, they are voting in favor of the continuation of the genocide in Gaza. Are these politicians and parties ready to face the consequences of being complicit in genocide? Why does the Netherlands choose to position itself against international humanitarian laws and the Geneva Conventions? Why does it choose to be complicit in genocide and act like a rogue state? Is this a result of pressure from the U.S.? Maybe, since the Netherlands has previously shown itself to be too subservient to the U.S. in matters related to China. Another day of destruction in Gaza and Lebanon, yet many parties in the Netherlands parliament — including the so-called Social Democrats and Green Left — voted against a weapons embargo on the state responsible for this ongoing violence, day in and day out, for over a year.
