Nvidia current market value at is around $2.96 billion (11/6/24).  Nvidia founder & CEO Jensen Huang personal fortune has increased to around $100 billion and becoming the world’s 15th richest man, with Nvidia share price nearing $3 trillion at around $2.8 trillion market capitalization (30/5/24).  In 2024 February, Nvidia market value had crossed $2 trillion on Friday (23/2/24), closing the trading day at $1.97 trillion market value. NVIDIA co-founder & CEO Jensen Huang personal fortune is now estimated at $70 billion.  In 2023 June, Nvidia market value crossed $1 trillion (15/6/23: $1.05 trillion), joining a total of 6 companies with trillion-dollar market value – Apple, Microsoft, Saudi Aramco, Alphabet, Amazon and Nvidia.  Currently (23/2/24), there are 3 companies with above $2 trillion above market value – Microsoft $3 trillion, Apple $2.8 trillion & Saudi Aramco $2 trillion.  Jenson Huang was born in Taiwan (1963) and migrated to the United States at the age of 9, graduating from Oregon State University in 1984 (Bachelor in Electrical Engineering) and Stanford University in 1992 (Masters in Electrical Engineering).  He was a Director at LSI Logic and Microprocessor designer at AMD (Advanced Micro Devices).  In 1993, Jensen Huang, Curtis Priem & Chris Malachowsky co-founded NVIDIA, producing graphics processing units (GPU).  In 1999, NVIDIA IPO on Nasdaq (Initial Public Offering).   NVIDIA was incorporated in California in April 1993 and reincorporated in Delaware in April 1998.  Jensen Huang wife is Lori Huang (Oregon State University) and have 2 children.

🌐 Binance, the largest shareholder of the South Korean cryptocurrency exchange GOPAX, sold the asset claims of GOPAX victims for less than half their face value. 🔘 Initially, Binance had promised 100% compensation for the losses (70bn KRW) incurred by the suspension of GOPAX's GOFi service. 🔘 Instead, Binance acquired Gopax shares at a significantly discounted price and became their largest shareholder. 🔘 However, it has been revealed that Binance did not compensate the victims with its own funds but by selling the victims' asset claims at a low price. This move was essentially a "robbing Peter to pay Paul" strategy. 🔘 After Binance sold the victims' asset claims, the prices of crypto assets soared, increasing the amount of damages. 🔘 GOFI’s debt is estimated to amount to approximately 100bn KRW as of today, excluding existing repayments. #rcz #crypto #binance #market #funds #assets
