As a .NET developer, I can confidently say that embracing .NET 6 has been a game-changer. The enhancements and new features have had a significant impact on the entire .NET ecosystem, including ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core. But what has really stood out to me is the Blazor framework. It offers a transformative approach to crafting interactive web user interfaces, empowering developers to leverage C# instead of relying solely on JavaScript. With Blazor, the development landscape has expanded, affording the flexibility to construct web applications entirely in C# or blend C# seamlessly with traditional JavaScript paradigms. And the evolution of Blazor within .NET 6 has been characterized by enhancements in performance, robust tooling, and expanded capabilities, enhancing its appeal and utility in modern web development endeavors. My engagement with Entity Framework Core has also marked a paradigm shift in how I approach data access and manipulation within the .NET ecosystem. By adopting Entity Framework Core, I've observed tangible improvements in developer productivity. It's clear to me that embracing modern frameworks and technologies is crucial to streamlining development workflows and elevating the overall quality of software solutions delivered to clients. Today I will talk about another technical book that I wrote. it's called "SignalR on .NET 6: The Complete Guide". While I wrote this book while .NET 6 was the current.NET version, the information provided is still relevant today for .NET 8. As the name suggests, the book talks about SignalR, which is a powerful .NET library for enabling persistent two-way connection between the client and the server. Once the connection is established, messages can travel both ways. You can use it to build any network-connected applications with real-time functionality. For example, you can use it in an application that tracks a delivery on the map. You can use it in live dashboards. Or you can build an instant messages application with it. Microsoft extensively uses this library for many different things. For example, Blazor Server relies on it to trigger client actions from the server. I personally used it to build complex clusters of IoT devices. The book is available on Amazon and Leanpub.
