There are a huge number of online and in person courses we can take that help in our skill development. Depending on your level in the organisation you also have to complete a certain number of learning hours each year. This is an organisation that really wants to help its people develop and grow, something to truly be admired for, from someone with a learning and development background like me.

🔄 Final Takeaways: Advanced Teamflow: Pivoting your agile Transformation training In the final part of our Advanced Teamflow training, we explored a powerful concept to change: the value slicing manoeuvre—a term Patrick Steyaert coined. It’s more than just a product management or requirements technique. It’s about reframing how work is split to unlock new forms of collaboration, especially in complex, incumbent organisations. This approach helps organisations finish more and deliver consistent value, even in the face of complexity. Another key insight we gained was derived from Conway’s Law—how an organisation’s system design mirrors its communication structures. Patrick Steyaert and Arlette Vercammen helped us recognise that phase gates, often seen in large organisations, aren’t just bureaucratic roadblocks. They’re a natural outcome of these structures. Through the training, we learned how to evolve phase gates into integration points, shifting from rigid control to dynamic work organisation, using the principles of “action shapes perception,”. 💡 Takeaways: - Value slicing fosters new collaborative patterns that drive outcomes in complex environments. - Evolving phase gates into integration points requires changing how we perceive governance and work design. 📣 I highly recommend this training to anyone looking to dive into a rich, experience-based learning environment, with simulations and enriching debriefs that offer a deeper understanding of How Transformation Works. 💫 It was amazing to be present at #Microsoft #Envision yesterday with Nina van Gulik on behalf of delaware Netherlands, one big immersive experience into AI and its possibilities! 📣 Listening to thought leaders and experts, and meeting with like-minded professionals was inspiring, all in a venue buzzing with energy. There were many great takeaways and topics that were discussed, like #responsibleAI #augmentedintelligence, #datadrivendecisionmaking, #aiadoption #digitaltransformation #workplaceofthefuture and so many more. People are at the center of this transforming technology! For many organizations AI still can be a bit daunting to start with.
