What are the most important performance indicators for evaluating LGF outcomes?
While there are several KPIs to measure and evaluate LGF outcomes, I would recommend: Measuring engagement of the attendees participants, so how interactive and engaging the session was. Measuring diversity and inclusion, so did the session include diverse groups with diverse perspectives and did it present an equitable platform for all groups to be heard? Evaluating the efficiency of identifying and capturing any issues or problems as well as evaluating the solutions brought forward in those sessions and how to implement. Finally, evaluating the goal of the session. Was it met? If not, using attendee feedback to recalibrate and create post-session actions.

How can you create a safe mentoring environment for your mentee?
We are human and even the best of us sometimes confuse “hearing” with “listening “. Active listening (including body language and observing mannerisms) play a crucial role in ensuring the success of a mentor-mentee relationship. It takes intentional restraint to not speak or respond when the other party is speaking or says something your resonate with so being both a mentor and mentee, i tell myself every time i go into a conversation to “wait my turn”. This way, both parties feel “heard” and “valued”.

How do you handle stakeholder resistance or opposition to your strategic decisions or actions?
Push back or resistance from stakeholders is expected especially in the corporate world as every individual or team have different definitions of what they deem priority and have their unique ways of working. In my experience, it is critical to understand concerns, while communicating overall goal, benefits and timeline. Always use a collaborative approach to find common ground and adjust where needed. Building relationships and aligning with change agents or early adaptors can also add in getting more buy-in and I will also not underestimate the use of data in driving and ensuring a positive impact of the proposal you are putting forward.
