To be precise COMPAMED – Düsseldorf / Deutschland & MEDICA - Leading International Trade Fair, edition 2024 at Messe Düsseldorf GmbH 🇩🇪 Fair to say that I can be extremely proud 👏🏻 of our R🤩ckstars 🤟🏻 from the Unitron Group BV 🇳🇱 and Unitron Medx 🇧🇪 team who have pulled out everything they had to come to the stand. 2 stands that represented the core of our specialism. Together we build medical devices that matter and makes the difference in future of care. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆, 𝘀𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🎥 Unitron Group BV had the great pleasure to welcome the COMPAMED – Düsseldorf / Deutschland filmcrew at our booth during the fair. Pieter De Wilde discussed different techniques, services and expertises of Unitron, but also shared his opinion about the impact of the new MDR. Pieter states: "What we see now is that customers rely on our expertise on how to bring a medical device on the market, in relation to all the different standards. It's more based on a risk approach. It's not only following the standards, but it's the bigger picture that's quite important. It's not only about bringing a product on the market, but MDR also focuses on keeping products on the market." 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 🔬 Today is not only the last day at COMPAMED – Düsseldorf / Deutschland but also World Diabetes day. This week, Unitron Group BV has been spreading the word about the Vicentra Kaleido at the Compamed fair. Globally, 537 million people are living with diabetes - that's about 1 in every 10 adults whose well-being is potentially being impacted by diabetes. Also, around 1/3 of people with diabetes experience diabetes-related stress (source: www.worlddiabetesday.org). Kaleido has the solution for improving the lives of people who have diabetes: a user-friendly insulin pump that provides freedom and flexibility for every person with diabetes. The insulin pump is small and fashionable (available in 10 colors!), which makes it comfortable to wear. Unitron Group BV was invited to the community breakfast at The Gallery, close to the TechMed centre at Universiteit Twente | Faculteit TNW. 🥐 After enjoying a great meal, the whole group was guided to the opening of the TechMed event. The kick-off went great and was the perfect call to action for attending the many panel discussions with keynote speakers. During and after the event, we got the opportunity to connect and match with different healthcare professionals. 𝗚𝗲𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗮𝗴𝗱𝗲 𝗕𝗛𝗩 𝗼𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 🚨 'Beste collega's, hierbij start de BHV met de ontruimingsoefening'. Zo klonk het door de speakers op het terrein van Unitron. Alle collega's zochten de dichtstbijzijnde nooduitgang en vertrokken naar de verzamelplaats. Binnen no-time waren alle drie de gebouwen ontruimd.
