Last Friday we partnered with The Recharge Club during their very first Club Event, 'Leer in een halve dag alles over young professionals', for 100+ (HR) Managers. Our Acies formed a panel discussing 'How to become an attractive employer for diverse talent?', sharing personal experiences and valuable insights about fostering inclusive company cultures. 🚀 Throwback to a milestone moment in our collaboration with Foot Locker EMEA! As we’re approaching Pride Month again, we’re highlighting the ‘Laced With Pride’ event we put together for our client FLE. The goal was to create a platform to talk about Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) within the European sneaker culture. Foot Locker EU proudly sponsored Pride, supporting the local LGBT+ community. 🌈 They did so by not only hosting a boat at the Canal Parade but also by hosting this panel discussion at their Amsterdam store. The event wasn't just a celebration; it was a platform to start meaningful dialogues 🎤 about DE&I, and particularly about DE&I with the European sneaker culture. 👟 It turned out to be a powerful panel discussion that resonated deeply with the audience. Recognising the importance of this conversation, Foot Locker EMEA made the audio available to all their employees as part of their internal education program. The response was overwhelming! As we honour Pride Month this June, we are reminded of the importance of these initiatives and the positive change they can bring. “Gen Z are lazy, they do not want to work and have no commitment” This is a statement that is being all over the internet, and IRL. Which is unfortunate - because the statement is not true. As an agency with a lot of knowledge and expertise on Gen Z - and also being the employer of a bunch of Gen Z’ers 👌 - we can tell you this: Gen Z simply works differently. → Gen Z values a balance between work and personal life. ⚖️ It's not about working less, but working differently; away from the strict 9 to 5 routine. → Gen Z wants to feel heard; they have plenty of fresh ideas and unique perspectives since they’re hyper connected. 📲 But they need to be taken seriously. → Gen Z is very motivated to learn by doing. 💪 Challenge them and trust them with responsibilities! → Last but not least: Gen Z expects to see the diversity of the real world reflected at work as well. 🤝 So, to all employers: make a REAL effort. 🔙 Reflecting on the success story of PUMA Creative Camp! 🔙 Taking a moment here to reminisce about the incredible journey we embarked on together with our long-time client PUMA.🌟 Faced with the challenge of reigniting engagement among PUMA’s Select Consumers - a vibrant community of young creatives and entrepreneurs - we delved into qualitative research to truly understand their needs and desires. 🧐 The result? PUMA Creative Camp - a carefully crafted retreat nestled in the tranquil setting of Tuinen van West.
