  • While KARL LAGERFELD’s Digital Commerce team is relentlessly focused on strategy, innovation and KPIs, it’s equally as important to them to prioritize moments of celebration and connection. With this mindset, they recently joined a pasta-making workshop at Nico’s Trattoria in Amsterdam, where they could roll up their sleeves and learn a new skill together— a delicious one at that. "I really enjoy getting together with my colleagues outside of the usual work environment,” said Diana Sanchez, Junior E-Commerce Content Specialist. “It's always interesting and fun to see everyone in a new light and have a glimpse of personality traits from colleagues who I don't often get to work with so closely at the office." The team members tested their culinary creativity while bonding, unwinding and strengthening their collaboration — all of which helps drive the continued, collective success of the digital commerce team.

From January 14 to 17, guests are invited to discover the World of KARL at Sala della Scherma, to explore core DNA pieces from KARL LAGERFELD and KARL LAGERFELD JEANS.  “Returning to Pitti Uomo is a meaningful moment to invite our audience into the ever- evolving world of Karl,” says Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of KARL LAGERFELD. “Our presentation is a testament to Karl’s iconic legacy and visionary spirit, serving as a bridge between the rich inspiration he left us and the exciting future we’re shaping."   • Meet Cristina Imberti, Manager Operations Wholesale at KARL LAGERFELD. Originally from Italy, Cristina has been with #TEAMKARL for seven and a half years. Her days are filled with organizing reports, business performance presentations, managing key decisions and communications across warehouses, customers and internal departments, all while juggling multiple seasons at once.     With important deadlines for things like shipping samples, staying informed about developments and connecting with her team is fundamental to the success of their projects. “At KARL LAGERFELD, I get to interact with lots of different departments and explore the varying aspects of the business, which is an opportunity I really enjoy.”    Reaching the monthly shipping targets, staying relaxed and watching the team achieve their goals is truly satisfying. “As Pier says, ‘KARL LAGERFELD is one big family, and this is my second home.’”

  • Meet Christa Van der Wielen, #TEAMKARL’s Office Manager from Amsterdam. This year, Christa is celebrating her ten-year anniversary at KARL LAGERFELD — a decade of ensuring that things run smoothly behind the scenes.     A typical day includes making sure essential supplies are stocked and organized, as well as carefully coordinating shipments. Throughout the day, Christa usually has a steady stream of colleagues and guests passing by, either with specific questions, or just for a quick chat, making much of her role about creating a warm, efficient and vibrant hub where everyone feels welcome and connected.    To Christa, what makes every day so special is the great ambiance and the chance to connect with so many colleagues from diverse backgrounds every day. “No day is the same,” she says. “Everybody treats each other as equals and I like the variety in age, culture and nationalities within the teams.”

  • To celebrate the art of fragrance, last week KARL LAGERFELD hosted an exclusive event at its Parisian Maison, coinciding with the launch of its new IKONIK scents. Together with friends of the House, an intimate dinner included statement-making styles, and spectacular vogueing performances. The atmosphere took inspiration from the fragrances themselves: elegant, sophisticated and effortlessly refined.

  • Last weekend, 30 KARL LAGERFELD employees put on their running gear to participate in the Amsterdam Half Marathon as part of our #KarlGoesRunning initiative. At KARL LAGERFELD, we’re committed to fostering team spirit and prioritizing both mental and physical well-being. This race wasn’t just about the finish line—it was about personal growth. Whether first-time runners or experienced athletes, every participant set their own goals, pushed their limits, and supported each other along the way. Many colleagues showed up to cheer them on, reflecting the strong sense of community that defines #TEAMKARL.

  • At KARL LAGERFELD, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do. Recently, the growing #TEAMKARL HR team took a break from the office for a fun team-building event in Amsterdam. A friendly game of Boules helped everyone mingle and connect, fostering new relationships and strengthening existing ones. Mariana Araujo, an intern at KARL, shared: “As a new intern, it was amazing to step outside the office and get to know the team in a different way. With the team expanding, this event was a great chance to build stronger relationships. The competitive energy made it exciting, but it also reminded me how crucial it is to nurture connections, especially in a team like ours where collaboration is key. It was a fun experience that brought us closer together!”

    As part of KARL LAGERFELD’s Give Back Program - an initiative that gives each employee two (paid) days per year to spend volunteering at a cause of their choice - #TEAMKARL recently rejoined Juttersgeluk for another beach clean-up at Zandvoort.   From interns to management, the KARL LAGERFELD team is united in making a positive impact on the planet. This beach clean-up was not only about caring for the environment but also an opportunity to explore the art of beachcombing.    Participants called it a truly rewarding experience, and the team is already looking forward to the next activity in 2025: helping to clean Amsterdam’s iconic canals.

Celebrating the players and their passion for urban street culture, the partnership offered an exciting opportunity to engage with FIBA’s diverse audience, international cultures and communities.   From Hong Kong to Hungary, Marseille to Paris, KARL LAGERFELD followed the journey of these incredible athletes right through to the win. A special congratulations to Worthy de Jong (Team Netherlands) and Marie Reichert (Team Germany) for taking home gold medals!

  • Meet Stuart Baxter, Retail Director, Outlet at KARL LAGERFELD. Originally from the Roman city of Chester in England, Stuart has been part of #TEAMKARL for three months and it’s been an exciting time so far, managing retail operations across stores, supporting teams in personal growth, and driving the expansion of the brand’s Outlet business across Europe with his team.     Stuart collaborates with Area Managers to improve KARL customer experiences. He also works on strategic growth initiatives with internal and external partners, so every day is different and brings a new set of challenges and inspiration. Stuart says: “Our teams both in stores and in our offices have made me feel very welcome and we have some incredible talent.”    On his favorite part of the job, he says: “I started my career on the shop floor and I still get the same buzz today as I did back then when visiting stores. In our stores is where we learn the most about our customers and our people, which is key to our future success.”
