Epson's recognition as the top AV manufacturer comes down to its people. The AV Award judges highlighted Epson's commitment to sustainability, our investments in renewable energy, innovative practices, and strong ESG initiatives. But all of this stems from a culture and purpose shared by each of the 75,000 employees that drive Epson across the globe. 'Manufacturer of the Year' attributes not only cutting-edge production and R&D, but the entirety of the front and backend functions that enable us to bring our AV solutions to market. That includes of course Epson's highly valued partners, who are bringing Epson's wide portfolio of projectors, Moverio smart glasses, visualisers and AV accessories to end-user customers around the world. Thank you to everyone that has helped make this recognition possible. #AV #ProAV #AVAwards2024 #AVAwards #ManufacturerOfTheYear

Epson is a global leader in imaging technologies. We make things that help people and businesses see the world a little differently. This page is managed by Epson Europe B.V., the European headquarters of the Seiko Epson Corporation, and the company behind the global Epson brand. We’ve created an array of award-winning products for consumer, business, government, medical, finance and retail markets across the world. Our factories, based across the globe, manufacture a range of products that includes printers, scanners, projectors, point-of-sale terminals, smart glasses, GPS sports monitors, heart rate activity monitors and industrial robots. Epson is a Japanese brand that evolved from Seiko – best known as one of the world’s foremost watchmakers. In 1968, we launched the EP-101, the world’s smallest and first digital printer, from which the name Epson, the son of the EP was born. We’ve continued innovating ever since, and now we’re one of the best-selling and most innovative brands in just about every market in which we operate. This page deals with our businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Sister companies within our group manage their own pages to cater for other regions. We constantly strive to create innovative products that are reliable, recyclable and energy efficient because at Epson, we know that planning for the future requires a strong commitment to the environment. All of Epson’s European activities are geared towards achieving the goals set out in our Environmental Vision 2050 plan, and we are always happy to hear constructive ideas on how we can deliver those commitments and more.

We’ve mentioned before about our commitment to ensuring internationally recognised and accepted brightness standards are used by all projector manufacturers worldwide. It’s only then that customers can be confident they are making informed purchasing decisions instead of relying on potentially misleading metrics. Formovie Tech is the latest lawsuit settlement with our colleagues at Epson America. Formovie Tech have agreed to correct previously misstated white brightness specifications worldwide for the Formovie Theater to reflect accurate brightness claims. Moving forward they will use ISO 21118 the internationally recognised standard for measuring a projector’s White Brightness. This is great news for the industry and more importantly for anyone looking to buy a projector and demonstrates how serious we are about ensuring our customers can make informed choices with accurate information You can read more about the latest settlement here https://lnkd.in/dCBEWJd6 #3LCD #HighBrightness #ColourLightOutput #ISO #ICDM #IDMS #HomeCinema #Projection
