We use blockchain to enable traceable, transparent and circular supply chains
Over ons
Circularise is a Dutch supply chain transparency software provider using blockchain technology to enable circular economy at scale. We believe better transparency is necessary to create a circular economy. We also understand that not every industry can be fully transparent. That’s why we developed a blockchain based supply chain traceability solution with a unique encryption technology ‘Smart Questioning’. It helps supply chain actors to trace products and verify the origins, certificates, carbon footprint and other material data backed by public blockchain based chain of custody and share sensitive product information without risking data privacy and confidentiality. What are public digital product passports? Public digital product passports (pDPPs) unlock essential product data for those outside traditional value chains, such as recyclers, regulators, and consumers. Circularise platform creates mobile-friendly web pages from complex DPP information, the contents of which are controlled by the client 🔑 These public passports serve as a vital tool. They empower consumers with easy QR code access to a product's sustainable journey, aligning with regulatory standards. For recyclers and end-of-life (EoL) operators, pDPPs deliver detailed insights for improved material recovery and informed recycling strategies. Circularise developed 3 pDPPs as part of the CIRCULAR FOAM Project. Experience the pDPPs firsthand and scan QR codes below and explore the intersection of transparency and sustainability 👇

Major milestone in the PU Foam Recycling with Digital Product Passports 🚀 Thrilled to share our advancements in the CIRCULAR FOAM Project. We're uniting with giants — Covestro, Kingspan Group, Electrolux Group, Unilin, and others across Europe — to tackle one of the toughest recycling challenges. What's happening? We're diving deep into recycling rigid polyurethane foam, widely used in our homes and industries. Our collective aim? To reshape the material’s lifecycle: 1) Prevent 1M tons of waste by 2040. 2) Cut CO2 emissions by 2.9M tons. 3) Save €150M in burning costs. What's our key innovation? The creation of Digital Product Passports (DPPs) for Electrolux refrigerator doors, Unilin insulation boards, and Kingspan metal panels. By capturing crucial data about product components, we're providing recyclers and consumers with easy but comprehensive insights. Let's celebrate this milestone in promoting a more transparent world of recycling with #CircularFoam! Find our more in the comments 👇

🐟 Circularise & ScaleAQ: first-ever aquaculture digital product passport! Transforming fish farming, we've netted a win with ScaleAQ, a Norwegian innovator producing hardware and software in aquaculture technology, through the innovative SirkAQ project. With each of the 36,239 fish farms in Europe containing 360,000 tons of plastic, the industry's plastic waste footprint is substantial. Norway alone generates 25,000 tons of plastic waste annually. The SirkAQ pilot aims to revolutionise this norm, presenting a scalable model of sustainability. The digital product passport for ScaleAQ's Vortex pen has made it possible to track almost 20 different components, illuminating the supply chain and proving the viability of a sustainable model. Product traceability platforms like Circularise provide the crucial tools for this endeavor, enabling closed-loop systems. We are demonstrating that fish farming pens’ plastics can be more than just recycled; they can be reused in their original capacity, promoting a closed-loop system, and are now traceable, recycle-ready, and reusable without the compromise of downcycling 🔄 In collaboration with Hallingplast AS, ScaleAQ, Oceanize, and Sinkaberg, this venture reimagines plastic's lifecycle in aquaculture. This case proves that, with the right tools, companies are ready to navigate the necessary policy shifts that lie ahead. Sustainability is no longer optional❗ The Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (#ESPR) exemplifies a shift from an era of voluntary compliance to an era of mandatory compliance. ESPR targets a wide array of products circulating within the EU market, such as textiles, tyres, furniture, paints, chemicals and more. Under ESPR's umbrella, compliant products enjoy unfettered access across EU markets, superseding individual countries' sustainability standards. It’s a green light across EU nations as long as products meet ESPR requirements. The regulation refines product sustainability, focusing on durability, reusability, recyclability and more. The ESPR also mandates a digital product passport for all products in the EU market. This DPP will hold essential information, ensuring compliance and transparency. 👩💻 Join our ESPR webinar tomorrow led by Živa Buzeti, to learn about: 1) Scope of ESPR Compliance 2) Digital Product Passports (DPPs) 3) Product Requirements & Disposal Rules 4) Opportunities for multinational companies 🔗 Register here: https://lnkd.in/guW3dn7W
