🚨 Advanced AI for Surveillance Robots: The Future of Security At LAB42, in collaboration with TU Delft, TNO, and the Koninklijke Marechaussee, their developing intelligent surveillance robots within the OpenBots consortium to support security personnel. Using generative AI, similar to the technology behind ChatGPT, we’re teaching robots to navigate, assess situations, and respond appropriately in unpredictable environments. Robots offer benefits like 24/7 operation, enhanced perception, and risk mitigation, all without replacing human staff. The goal? A seamless collaboration between humans and robots. The team at LAB42, led by Cees Snoek, is developing innovative algorithms to make robots even smarter. Together, we’re building towards a secure future where technology and humans work hand in hand.
