Onze “OpenDag” bij Crole Natuurrund was een groot succes met interesse voor #kweekvlees van de boerderij, lokale producten en de natuur runderen in het Vresselsebos. Er is volop geluisterd naar lezingen door Tim van de Rijdt, Ralf Becks, Ira van Eelen en @Eric van der Velde. Er werd getekend, gespeeld en gesprongen door de kids terwijl ouders en grootouders proefde van lokale producten. In 2019 we connected with Leon Moonen from Crole Natuurrund at our second #KET event in Amsterdam NEMO. We combined the themes #futurefarming with #futurefood and a long lasting connection was born. We are so proud to have been part of the birth of this unique spinoff with RESPECTfarms, this amazing “OpenDag” at the farm and the first tasting at Mosa Meat where Ira van Eelen on behalf of Cellulaire Agricultuur Nederland and Leon Moonen as one of the providers of beefcells, got to taste the first “official” EU tasting of a beefburger in Maastricht. Connecting the future of food to what is familiar in food, last Sunday at the farm was a pure joy. No academic discussions far away from our current value chain but in the hart of it, with ordinary people, young and old interested in what the future has in store for them. Big applause and happy we could help.

Ira van Eelen knew from the start that cultivated meat would only happen in partnership with, not fighting against, farmers. The project that she, along with Florentine Zieglowski and Ralf Becks, has been leading for the past year is truly unique, and such a worthwhile endeavor. Circular Economy and Information Systems ♻️ Interview request Are you a manager implementing circular economy practices in your company? Or have you considered doing so, but felt limited by the tools and information systems available in your organization? For my master thesis, my group and I are researching the intersection of information systems and Circular Economy in organizations. If you are (or know of) a professional interested in sharing your experiences in this area, please feel free to reach out! We would love to conduct a semi-structured interview with you for 45-60 minutes. No identifying information about the company or the interviewee will be mentioned in the thesis.
