One of the biggest trends mentioned right now, IoT battery-less.   There are numerous different energy harvesting methods used in IoT products - RF energy harvesting, solar energy harvesting, piezoelectric energy harvesting. All these types of harvesting have one end goal: eliminating batteries.   What are the benefits of battery-less IoT use:   -Batteries are notoriously harsh on the ecosystem, it will benefit a 'greener environment -IoT is cheaper to build around -IoT usage is easier to maintain because they don’t require battery replacements.   What are application examples in battery-less IoT: Battery less IoT can be used in smart homes, IoT-equipped devices like smart lights to track power consumption and in industrial settings.
