🌐 Following Binance, KuCoin is suspending P2P services with the Nigerian Naira (NGN) due to regulatory pressure. Users were notified on May 15. ⚫️ The Nigerian Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has ordered fintech companies and banks to close accounts used for currency trading. ⚫️ Violations must be reported to the authorities immediately. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has already blocked over a thousand accounts. ⚫️ The SEC believes that cryptocurrency P2P traders are to blame for the devaluation of the naira. Simple Mining
Bitcoin is not about HODL, diamond hands, NgU, HFSP, etc. It's about the network. It's about sending a transaction anywhere in the world and watching it confirm in less than 10 minutes. It's about running a node and verifying monetary policy yourself. It's about competing in the world's greatest lottery with a miner. NgU is cool. But the network is really something else.
