  • Celebrating the Conclusion of Our Semester Research Activities! We are thrilled to wrap up our Research and Policy Analysis activities for the Second Semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Session with an innovative INTER-SCHOOL FIELD TRIP CHALLENGE! This year’s topic focused on “THE PERCEPTION OF STUDENTS TOWARDS ACADEMIC STRIKE ACTIONS AND ITS IMPACT ON THEIR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE” A case study of the different faculties in the University of Nigeria nsukka. This impactful initiative, led by the outgoing PARG UNN Board of Directors and anchored by the newly appointed Director of Research and Academic Planning (DRAP), Pgt. Chibudom Ironuru, provided an invaluable platform for learning and collaboration. The field trip aimed to offer members a practical understanding of how theoretical concepts apply to real-world scenarios, bridging the gap between academic learning and practical experiences. Highlights from the Challenge: Participating schools showcased their skills by: - Reviewing relevant literature in the field of economics and research. - Conducting rigorous data analyses to draw actionable insights. - Presenting evidence-based recommendations that, if implemented, could address pressing research questions. The competitive spirit was palpable as each team brought their A-game! While everyone’s efforts deserve applause, every challenge has a winner. Stay tuned for our next post, where we’ll reveal the winner! If you’re passionate about economics, academic research, or policy analysis, let’s connect! Share your thoughts, follow for more updates, and don’t forget to like and share this post to inspire more engagement in academic and practical research initiatives. Together, let’s continue to progress through knowledge! #PARGUNN #ProgressThroughKnowledge #FieldtripChallenge

  • We extend our appreciation to Senior Pargite Jennifer Agbo and Great O. Nnamani who shared educating tips to the newly inducted Pargites on how they can excel as a member of PARG. Here are 5 Key highlights from Jennifer to the Newly inducted Pargites; 1.   Discover who you are and maximize the opportunity that has been presented to you. 2.   You have something unique and outstanding about you, and one of the ways of finding it out is to commit to taking up challenges. 3.   Before coming to the PARG meeting, ensure you read those research topics, for you to have something to say, and try to say it first. By doing this, you intentionally build your confidence. 4.   See PARG as a platform that can take you anywhere and look out for opportunities. 5.   Embrace academic integrity and be intentional in participating in PARG activities. 6.   Remember your main motive in school is to succeed as a student, do excellently well, and graduate 7.   Whatever activity you are joining, ensure it aligns with your goal, and PARG is a perfect example. 8.   seize opportunities and document your experiences, as this will prove invaluable in the future. Further, the key highlights of Great are; 9. Build strong relationships with lecturers and fellow pargites. 10. Surround yourselves with mentors who can guide you. 11. Take advantage of leadership roles to demonstrate true leadership qualities. 12. View rejections as opportunities for growth. 13. Prioritize planning, productivity, and meaningful conversations. 14. Stay spiritually alert and intentional with extracurricular activities. 15. Remember the "GOD" factor and accept corrections. Thank you Jennifer Agbo and Great O. Nnamani for sharing these awesome tips with the inducted Pargites. #PARGUNN #ProgressThroughKnowledge
