Today, Novartis upgraded our mid-term guidance at our Meet Novartis Management event for investors and analysts in London. As our leadership team outlined, Novartis projects higher sales growth over the next five years. These updated expectations are a result of our robust clinical development program, since transforming into an innovative medicines company. As a result, Novartis now has more than 30 potential high-value medicines in our current pipeline. This revised outlook also builds on the strong momentum outlined in recent quarterly earnings as our current portfolio of breakthrough treatments continues to reach more patients in new markets.
