About us
NASD Plc is the promoter of an Alternative Trading Network that seeks to ease secondary market trading of all non-quoted securities in the West African region, thereby stimulating growth through more efficient capital raising processes. NASD brings together Issuers, individual and institutional investors, accredited dealers, stockbrokers, banks, central clearing systems, private equity and venture capital firms and depositories with a view to increasing liquidity in the non-quoted segment of the long term funding market. Through its Enterprise Portal (NASDeP), NASD eases the capital raising process for high growth companies. It encourages growth enterprises to release structured information about their performance operations and requirements to a select audience of venture capital, private equity and other accredited investors who are seeking investment opportunities.

NASD Advocates Compliance With SEC Rules On Unlisted Securities Trading The NASD OTC Exchange is championing transparency and investor protection by urging public limited companies to comply with SEC regulations requiring unlisted securities to be traded exclusively on SEC-registered Over-the-Counter (OTC)platforms. Non-compliance could lead to significant penalties, starting from ₦100,000 for the first violation and ₦5,000 per day for continued breaches. By embracing this regulation, companies can unlock new opportunities for portfolio diversification and contribute to a more vibrant and trustworthy Nigerian capital market. 🔗 Read more @ https://lnkd.in/gttP7HcG #CapitalMarkets #Transparency #InvestorProtection #NASD #SEC
