A Christmas to Remember! The Silent Struggles, The Loud Triumphs! Children with disabilities face immense challenges daily; limited access to care, social stigma, and countless barriers that often extend to their caregivers. At FriendnPal, we’ve committed to rewriting this narrative by providing not just resources but hope and empowerment. This December, FriendnPal held a special event, an inclusive Christmas party for over 500 children with disabilities and their caregivers; a celebration that went far beyond just party jollof! 💃🏽 Together, we created a safe, joyful space filled with love, laughter, and life-changing impact. Also, we wrapped up an incredible journey of support by presenting certificates to caregivers who successfully completed a one-month empowerment program. From wig making to graphic design, organic farming, and yam minisett cultivation, these skills are paving the way for financial independence and sustainable futures. We didn’t stop there. Recognizing the mental health struggles caregivers face, we offered free therapy sessions and mental health support to ensure their well-being as they continue this selfless journey. 🧡 From speech therapy, physiotherapy, and behavioral therapy sessions to dietitian consultations, we prioritized lifelong support for these incredible children. We didn’t stop there; business grants were given to caregivers to empower their futures, and FREE HMOs were provided courtesy of our amazing partners, @LCD Foundation and Skydd {Formerly HealthInsured} A heartfelt thank you to MyMedicare Healthcare and Belpma Diet & Wellnesss Gemeaux World Global Resources Corp and all our partners who made this possible. This was more than a party; it was a statement: Disability is not inability. Every child deserves love, inclusion, and support to thrive. The kids enjoyed games, party packs, and even went home with brand-new school bags, thanks to Compas AI | Tech Career Assistant! Together, we’ve created a tradition of love and inclusion that will only grow bigger and better every year. Let’s spread the word. Share this post and join us in building a world where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated. #InclusiveChristmas #DisabilitySupport #TogetherWeCan #FriendnPalImpact

You said 2024 would be your year of double promotion... But here you are, feeling stuck in the same position you had been since 2023.. You feel like a failure, telling yourself; "I thought I put in my best.. or maybe I didn't do enough... How can I please my boss? I must be promoted this year o" I feel your pain and concerns but life doesn't always give us what we desire. You didn't get the promotion this year, but who knows you might get it next year, if you do better and prove your worth without having to deprive your mental health. Even if you don't eventually get it, don't limit your success to promotion alone.. How about looking at the bigger goals life has to offer? Take courage, be encouraged, wrap up the year in grand style and try again. 😉 Friendnpal will always be your mental health pal and we are ready to journey together with you in the new year. Be of good cheer!

I found Jones pacing the hallway with his church prayer card, wondering where he missed it. Obviously, he wasn't able to tick a single item for his "Vision 2024" new year resolution. I had to tap my friend out of his misery because he seemed completely lost in thought. 🤔 A Lot of people are like Jones, you feel like you messed up big time, 2024 is almost over and you haven't hit the mark you set in the previous year. Infact, it's as though it got worse and you just can't figure out where you missed it! Relax, December is only the end of a year, not the end of the world, you can start again next year. Smile, restrategize and start again! #dettydecember #welistenwedontjudge #newyearresolution #mentalhealth

When I was younger, I had a best friend named Tunji. Tunji and I were inseparable for as long as I can remember. We went to the same school, same church and we were neighbors so it was bound to happen. It was all fun and life was fair until about 4 years ago when it was time to gain admission into a university. He never enjoyed secondary school much but he went ahead with it and tried his best. But for some reasons, he did not want to commit to this University education of a thing, he called it a scam and all that but I never really understood him. I went ahead and a year later, he was forced to go to school too. I was in my third year when I heard he had taken his own life. As time went on, the pain became worse and my father began to notice, especially after my grades just ran into the ground.” On this day, he decided to sit me down and have a talk. We started with school and why my grades were so low but somehow we transitioned to talking about my friend. He reminded me of when my grandmother (his mother) died many years back. That was honestly the first time I saw my old man shed a tear. It felt off because why would my father be crying? He explained to me that it was a moment of vulnerability for him and that everyone is allowed to be vulnerable every once in a while. When we allow ourselves to ease our burdens or stress through tears or in any way we choose, it is only then that we can truly be strong. I cried so much that day, my eyes still ached the next day. It's best to open up to those you feel comfortable with, I was just lucky that the person I was comfortable with and was also willing to listen to me was my father. For you, it could be a friend, a sibling or even the friend pal app, to each his own. As long as you can talk things out and get things off your chest, things will feel a thousand times better.

Do you want to help your Mental Health? Here are some simple Physical Activities to Try at Work. 😊 What if I told you that your low engagement in physical activities affects your mental well-being? Now you know! An average individual is expected to participate daily in physical activities to boost their fitness, cognition, mental health, and well-being. The absence of these movements leads to an increased rate of health issues, uncontrolled weight gain, mood swings, depression, and so much more. Here are some tips onparticipating in physical activities to boost your mental health at work. • Take the stairs instead of the elevator. •Walk to your colleague's table to deliver a message instead of texting. •Take short breaks within work hours to stretch your muscles. •Leave your desk at launch time, get another location to eat, or take a brisk walk. •Perform desk exercises by leg lifts, shoulder rolls, and seated marches. •Do simple breathing exercises. If you require an accountability partner or a community that can encourage you to stay active, download the FriendnPal app! Our community feature will connect you to others like you and help you stay motivated as you embark on this self-healing journey. Cheers to the good life! #stayfit #welistenwedontjudge #Mondaymotivation #mentalhealth
