What You’ll Do The Market Rate Leasing Intern will work alongside the Director of Market Rate Leasing as well as Leasing Managers assisting with a full scope of tasks related to the leasing process and renewals.
They will assist in organizing internal filing, ensuring that all internal forms are up-to-date, and assist the Leasing Managers during the busy season with projects as needed.
This will be a great opportunity to see how on-site leasing works from the inside out, seeing negotiation and pricing strategy, marketing efforts, and all things that make a successful leasing team run well.
L+M offers a comprehensive intern program.
During the ten-week program, interns will gain exposure to the jobsite, means and methods of construction, tour several jobsites, attend a lunch with company leaders, and make a presentation on lessons learned to senior management.
Specific duties will vary depending on the team but include tasks similar to these: Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist with projects in Yardi, rider and lease review, website review, marketing material review and floorplan reviews.
• Assist with weekly/monthly reporting.
• Assist Leasing Managers as needed.
• Assist with organizing internal filing system.
• Travel to on-site leasing offices throughout NYC.
