Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (SOGDC) is a government agency under the Ministry of Trade & Industry Sabah. SOGDC was established on August 2010 to acts as a purpose vehicle company to own, develop, manage and market an area of approximately 1,600ha / 4,065 acres in Mengalong, Sipitang District to be known as Sipitang Oil & Gas Industrial Park (SOGIP). SOGIP is an integrated industrial park focusing on downstream petrochemicals and other heavy industry. It is geared to attract new investment to Sabah State and create job opportunities through its industrial clustering.

Sabah Oil & Gas Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd.(SOGDC) participated in the exhibition for three days held in conjunction with the Malaysia (Sabah) China Business Summit 2024 at the Sabah International Conference Center (SICC) starting from 22 November. The summit provided a platform for State Agencies and business owner to showcase its initiatives and strengthen business ties with potential partners from China. This event highlights Sabah’s ongoing efforts to expand its influence in the global energy market and attract investment opportunities. In addition to the participation in the exhibition, SOGDC also attended the conference on Friday.
