We will trade under our new name, SD Guthrie, on Bursa Malaysia starting at 9:00 AM, Wednesday, June 5th, 2024. Our new stock name is SDG, but our stock code (5285) remains unchanged.

SD Guthrie Berhad (SD Guthrie or the Group), formerly known as Sime Darby Plantation Berhad, registered a three-fold year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to RM211 million in the first quarter of the financial year ending 31 December 2024 (1Q FY2024). “Now that we are in a position to craft our own direction, I am excited for what the future holds for us and all our stakeholders. With the rebranding, we are exploring new strategies that will take the company into an exciting and dynamic future. Project RELeaf continues in our Sabah & Johor estates! 🌳 It was a day of fun in the sun☀️ yesterday as volunteers from SD Plantation and Nestlé Cares planted 3,000 forest seedlings 🌱in our Tiger estate in Sabah and North Labis estate in Johor. This brings our total to over 748,500 trees planted under Project RELeaf since 2022! A huge thank you to all the volunteers for their incredible efforts! Their hard work is contributing to our mission under this project to plant over 1 million trees across 1,200 hectares of riparian zones, hills, and flat terrains within SD Plantation's areas. Our volunteers are one of the reasons behind the success of our reforestation initiatives. Since 2008, SD Plantation's reforestation programmes have resulted in the planting of over 2.28 million trees.
