Only 38% of global marketers evaluate holistic ROI by measuring traditional and digital marketing efforts together, according to Nielsen's annual report. In the iGaming and betting industry, this number is surely lower, as majority of the operators don't even measure a digital channel's impact holistically. Most operators focus on bottom-of-the-funnel channels and campaigns, and over-rely on affiliates, neglecting comprehensive ROI measurement and growth strategies. This narrow focus limits incremental growth, leaving many operators growing only at the market rate, at best. For our clients, story is different and I raise the incrementality topic already in the onboarding process. Yes, we'll achieve the best Cost per FTD for demanding and bottom of the funnel channels for you but let's not forget to invest in top of the funnel campaigns and activities - and measure it accordingly. You don't need to implement Marketing Mix Modelling immediately. Depending on your budgets, you might never need to. However, a conversion lift study, a search lift study, or simply asking your active users where they've found you is a good start. In three steps, this is how we’d increase conversions for an Online Casino. 1 - Social Proofing, or more specifically, raising social proofing to be one of the first things a user sees upon landing on their website. Social Proofing is a highly effective way to increase conversions by building trust and leveraging the reputations of other brands. Sources claim you have 10/15 seconds to build trust with website visitors. Whatever the case – 10 seconds, 15 seconds, or 50 milliseconds – you don’t have much time to build trust with the people who arrive on your website. They click, they look, and they leave just as fast… Or they stay, browse, and they convert (maybe) A surefire way to build trust is to make your social proofing one of the first things users see. 2 - On-site Engagement, specifically exit intent campaigns for quick wins. We’d begin strategically targeting users with our on-site campaigns based on their intent to exit without converting. Think about users abandoning the registration forms or attempting to leave without completing their first-time deposit, etc. This gives us two quick wins. A - We’d naturally see an increase in conversions by simply being more proactive with our traffic, compared to sitting on our hands and hoping that one day these users return. B - Data/Insights. Running multiple AB tests and gathering data on the best-performing exit campaigns gives us priceless information we can relay across all other marketing channels, including bonuses, imagery, text, and calls to action. (and in case you’re still not convinced, on average, our Operators increased their registrations by 12% upon rolling out strategically placed campaigns throughout their customer journey) 3 - Personalisation on landing pages and traffic sources Personalisation works when it comes to increasing conversions. It’s that simple - even basic things, such as adding first names to emails, increase open rates. However, let’s focus on our specialty, on-site personalisation and, more specifically, affiliate traffic personalisation. When affiliate traffic lands on a landing page, in this example, we came from Affiliate A. Target that traffic instantly with a tailored message. This message can be anything from special welcome bonuses to glowing quotes from the affiliate to our branded gamification pieces. Imagine this: You come from (said affiliate) to the Casino landing page and instantly see a Casino X Affiliate scratch card that has been tailor-made for you, not just a generic page/content that everybody else is seeing. You’ve instantly increased social proofing and engagement while providing that dopamine hit users seek. Your affiliates convert higher, players are happier, and everybody increases revenue. Win-Win. (and once again, if you’re not convinced, one of our affiliate customers currently has a 72.53% click-through rate on their personalised gamification piece)

Tournaments, as a part of User Journey in Сasino Operators, and how they are tipycally arranged.  All of them have some advantages and can be used by Operators for activities, Players engagement and overall Financial results Growth. Casino Operators can hosts 3 types of tournaments: 1) Networks - tournaments organised and financed by the game provider. Any Casino Operator that the Game Provider cooperates can take part in such a tournament. The main Feature of this type of tournament is that the conditions are not adapted to a specific market, and thats not a good story. For example, the minimum bet in a tournament may be too high for a market where people have a low income. Or some missions within a tournament is based on Turnover, that also not in a favour of low income regions. But this tournaments are easy to participate for Operators. On the early stages of Casino Operators growth or for some small regions - good thing to have! 2) Local tournaments - tournaments that Operator initiate on Operators' side, but conduct on the Game Provider's tournament tool. This type of organisation is optimal. Unfortunately, not all Game Providers have a advanced tournament tool with interesting mechanics, or the ability to customize the tournaments for a specific market. Still, this tournament type might give Casino Operators pretty good, customised approach for bringing fun to the players and engage them to play more and have cool time within the games. Getting some nice prizes and of course - promote GAMES from some specific Game providers.  This tournament type is financed in a shares between Casino Operators & Casino Game Providers. 3) Manual local tournaments. The third type of tournaments that Casino Operators often conduct. Responsibility for organising such a tournament is entirely with the Casino Operators. The teams prepare the design, Terms&Conditions, landings, etc.  These type of Tournaments if 100% for the Casino Operators cost, but allow to have as much mechanics and missions and prize pool verity as it can be.
