Yesterday, we reported that Air Atlanta Icelandic acquired two Boeing B777-200ERs to continue the transition of its passenger fleet from the current B747-400 to the newer twinjet B777s. Air Atlanta confirmed to ch-aviation that the aircraft will enter service in the summer of 2024 and that they will be placed on the Maltese AOC (Air Atlanta Europe) rather than to Air Atlanta Icelandic.
